I feel so overwhelmed! We have been so busy with this transition of moving to another state. I feel very blessed to have a sister and brother-in-law that have been gracious and generous enough to let us stay at their home while we house hunt and while Tom works there and not here. Never once have they complained. They have had open arms and make us feel so at home. I feel so truly blessed. I also have amazing friends who have offered to watch our girls for us or help in any way they can. I have really grown to love it here and I am now realizing how much I am going to miss it. I was caught up in the excitement of moving to my dream state and it never really hit me that we were moving. It just didn't seem real. Now that we have some renters for our home, the movers scheduled, Tom has started his new job, and a home in Idaho (keep your fingers crossed it goes through!) it now feels official that we are moving and I can't help but feel a heavy heart. And through it all my sweet kids have been great! Ya, they've had their moments, but they are carrying on their little shoulders the stress from their parents, not understanding what is going on, and having their little worlds becoming unfamiliar territory. So, for this post I felt it only fitting to show pictures of my girls helping me with some cooking. I have been trying to use up the frozen stuff in our freezer so I have been getting creative with my cooking and my girls are always on board to help. Brooklyn, especially, loves to be right there when I cook. I have two little keepers that I wouldn't trade the world for. So, with this transition I feel overwhelmed, but grateful too. Thanks to all again for your kind hearts. It has made this heavy heart, lightened.

Rewind life a little...

In this picture we are all rubbing each others backs. Mom's shoulder was hurting so I told her I would rub it out. As soon as Brooklyn saw me do it she climbed up on Grandma's lap and told her, "necklace". When she says that it means she wants her back rubbed.

Things have been somewhat of a whirlwind lately...I wonder why? The next couple of posts will be a rewind of what we've been up to before life got crazy. About a month ago Ben graduated with his MBA from BYU. GO BEN!!! It was fun to see him graduate and also fun to have some family come into town for the weekend. Here are some pics of that great weekend.

This is our new house...new to us, but about 20 years old in IDAHO. Yup, we put in an offer on Saturday and they accepted the offer today. It was only on the market 1 day. Tom got a job offer in Idaho and starts June 1. We close on the house June 5. The crazy thing about it was we were NOT looking for a job. We were actually going to stay for another 5 years until Tom's job closed (closure site). Tom was taking a class to certify for his job and one of the people in his class was from this job. He is actually Tom's new boss. His new boss approached Tom at the end of the week long class and asked him if he liked Idaho. Tom told him that he almost moved there 2 years ago, but it just wasn't right timing. Tom told him that he loved Idaho and would love to get there someday. The boss told him that he should apply because there was a job opening for a supervisor. So, Monday rolled around and his boss kept hounding him via email and phone that they were going to open the job just for him so that he could apply. So, Tom applied and 3 weeks later we accepted and are moving to Idaho within a few weeks. That is fast for government standards! It was actually just this last Thursday he got the offer so on Friday we drove to Idaho and looked at houses. We looked at probably 30 houses in 2 days and fell in love with this home because it had so much more to offer than the other homes we saw. Going into it this whole process we didn't want a 2 story or an older house. Well, as you can tell, we changed our minds. :) We have almost a 1/2 acre and in a culdesac. It is 5 minutes to Tom's vanpool and 2 minutes to any and all shopping. We are very sad to leave Utah because it really has been good to us. We have made some amazing friends that we hope will always feel welcome in our home if you ever want to visit Idaho know that you are welcome. It's funny, but 2 years ago we wanted so badly to move there, but the timing was just bad. It just didn't feel right. This time, everything is falling into place without much effort on our part. We KNOW the Lord has His hands in wanting us to go because it has really been a smooth process, we really haven't hesitated at all and we feel at peace. Sorry for the picture overload...as you can tell we are proud parents.

part of backyard. The door on the far left is an exercise room. The owner made an extra long garage bay and then put a wall at the end, put a door on the inside and outside, insulated it, put a heater, and I can fit all of my workout stuff in there! I am thrilled!!!
