Such a righteous child!
Last Sunday Brooklyn had to give the opening prayer in primary. Mind you, she is only 3 and I was pretty nervous that she would totally clam up and not be able to do it. So, when it came time for her to give the prayer she got up to the podium, GRABBED HER BOOK OF MORMON, opened it, then folded her arms and started to pray. She started speaking really soft so I raced up there and helped her finish the prayer. I WAS SO DARN PROUD OF HER!!! I was just beaming and wanted to tell everyone what a good job she did. It was also cute that we had a crowd watching her in the back. It made Grandma Debbie cry...Good job Brooklyn. You amaze me and I feel so blessed to be your Mom.

Mary and Brad come to visit!
Mary (Tom's younger sister) and Brad (Mary's fiance) came to visit us this past weekend. We had a lot of fun. We went to dinner on Friday and just visited. On Saturday Mary and Brad went to Targee and snowboarded. We painted. We just finished painting the babies room. pics to come soon. On Sunday I had 4 meetings on top of church so I'm not sure what everyone did that day. All I know is dinner was made when I got home and the house was straightened up. That was really great. They took off yesterday. It was fun to have them visit. We really like Brad and are excited to have him be apart of the family. He is really great with our kids and the girls were sad to see them both leave. Thanks for coming! Can't wait to see you at your wedding in less than a month!

Ducks!
It started off being a beautiful day outside. So, we decided to feed the ducks. I had a whole shelf in my freezer just for "duck bread". I was excited that I had it and also to get some of my freezer space back. Win win. As soon as we got out of the van the ducks swarmed us. It's like they were starving from a long winter. Then about 10 minutes into feeding them (I had probably 3 loaves of bread to feed them with) the wind picked up (I know, shocker for Idaho Falls) and it got cold. So, we ended up literally throwing whole pieces of bread at the ducks because we got cold. Poor Kenzie got nipped at by a goose. That ticked Tom off and let's just say that there wasn't a goose within 10 feet of us. I know they were scared of Tom. After we got in the car the girls thanked us and wanted to do it again later. Later that day we went to Blast Off (pics below). What a fun day. I love it when we can just do things together as a family.

"Pic Pic" anyone?
Last week we were watching one of my friend's boy and he wanted a picnic outside. It was in the 40's so I thought it was a great idea. Since the grass still had snow on it, we set up the camping chairs and had a "pic pic" as the girls like to call it. I tried to convince the girls that they needed a coat, but they kept saying that Carson didn't have one and that they were big now. Don't they look cold? The pic pic only lasted maybe 10 minutes, but they had fun. It was before 10 am...I do dress my kids for the day! (most of the time) :)

Blast OFF!!!
We went to this really fun place with the kids. They had ball pits, tunnels, a dress up section and slides. The girls absolutely LOVED it! Brooke's kids showed up a little bit after we got there so that made it even better. We were there 2 hours and they could have easily stayed another 2. Needless to say, they slept great that night and have asked to go back there everyday since.

I'm warm...
So, both girls have been sick at our house. This is how the conversation went:
Brooklyn: Mommy, I have colds. (a cold)
Kenzie: Hey Mommy, Brookwin has colds and I have warms. (What's ironic is she has had a really high fever (104) and really is warm.)
Kids are so funny in their logic. They make me smile.

Boise trip!
So, a couple weeks ago the girls and I went to Boise while Tom went on a fishing trip. It was a lot of fun. While we were there we got to see Heather's kids a lot because she went out of town and they stayed at my parent's house too. Brooklyn and Kenzie loved it! They loved playing with their cousins. Brooklyn, Austin and Kennedy played together and Kenzie and Hannah were buddies. It was really great to see them all get along so well. I wish we had more cousins that lived near us. But, no complaints, we at least have Brookey and her kids. While there Mom also helped me, or rather, I helped her, make the crib set for the new baby. Brittney (birthmom) and I picked out the fabric when we were in Utah last time. I love love love it! Thanks Mom! You are so talented. We cut out the rag quilt so I have a project to do in the next couple of weeks. It was a crazy week, but sooo fun. I was sad to leave. Thanks for letting us come!
