For Brooklyn's actual birthday (1 day later than her party) we had a nice family breakfast. Again, she didn't want to have anything to do with candles so we had to skip that part. Then we played games, went to church then had dinner and opened more presents. After presents we went over to my sister's, Brooke, house and visited before Brittney and Debbie had to head out of town. Their visits are always too short. Luckily, I still had my Mom for another day.
Something cute: My sister, Laura, called to wish Brooklyn a happy birthday. Here is their dialogue:
Lou: "Brooklyn, what did you get?"
Brooklyn: "Presents"
L: "What were the presents."
B: "Presents Lou. See." Meanwhile she was going around the room and holding her presents up to the phone.
Our conversation did crack me up. She's such a goofball. I can't believe she's three! I'm so glad she's a part of our family!
ReplyDeleteI love the frilly colored mega blocks! And I thought the picture of you, Brooke and your mother was a really great one.
