Part 2 of Brooklyn's Birthday Party

Brooklyn did not want to have anything to do with the candles or fire. Our little safety girl shining through!

Playing with balloons. I think this was their favorite toy...go figure.

Justin LOVED the backpacks...especially the princess backpack. :)
Grandma Faye and Brooke got the girls some backpacks and lunch pails. Brooklyn has always wanted a backpack. She always tells me that when she is in the store.
The Stufflebeams got her some big legos! THANKS!
Horns for their bikes!
Brooklyn and Hailee are buddies. Hailee was just as excited for the presents as Brooklyn.

Brooklyn (saying "CHEEEESE"), Grandma Faye, and cousin Hailee
The final product. I thought it was a pretty cute cake! Brooklyn is OBSESSED with bugs so we made her a caterpillar, ladybug and a flower. For one of her presents Tom made Kenzie and her some bug catchers. You will see these in future posts because they always seem to have them with her.
Brittney. I thought this was a cute picture of her.
Brittney and Debbie decorating Brooklyn's birthday cake. I had helpers this year to help decorate the cake! It went 10 times faster with their help and creativity. Thanks!

Brooklyn and Kenzie making Brooklyn's birthday banner. One of our traditions growing up was to make a homemade birthday banner for each other. So, I let the girls decorate Brooklyn's banner then I sent it over to Brooklyn's cousin Hailee's house and she finished it up.

For the rest of her party, after Rigby Lake, we came back to our house, got cleaned up, then had some cake and ice cream and Brooklyn opened some presents. She was VERY spoiled this year. Thank you everyone for being so generous. Brooklyn loved everything she was given. Thanks also for the many phone calls made to wish her a happy birthday. Tomorrow is Brooklyn's actual birthday post...we just had too much fun to post in 2 posts!

  1. You better not let Jeff know that Justin liked the princess backpack:) You are getting so creative with your cakes Michelle! Apparently I didn't get that gene. So, what are you going to make for my birthday? You'd probably better start planning now.
