Last Friday we had some friends over and we made turkeys and frosted cookies. I remember making turkeys when I was a kid and I wanted this tradition to continue. It turned out to be a lot of fun and all of the kids did a great job. Brooklyn did a great job and assembled it how Hailee did it. She is one visual kid. She was very adament about only doing one. Not quite sure why. Kenzie, on the other hand, would lick the candy, put it on the turkey then take it off and eat it. She only sat down for one and then wanted to play with the kids. As far as frosting the cookies go, Brooklyn only wanted sprinkles. "I do it by myself" was all she could say. She didn't even want frosting, but I had to convince her that you had to have frosting to make the sprinkles stick. Then Hailee showed her and Brooklyn was ok with it. Kenzie just licked the frosting off of the cookie. She didn't even attempt to decorate it. Goofballs.
