Tom's grandpa Leo painted this. He was a very talented artist and Tom has always mentioned that he wanted one of his Grandpa's paintings in the house. So...Colleen and I made it happen!

After our many travels in September, October seemed to come quickly in our home. We were lucky enough to have Don (Tom's sister's fiance) and Colleen (Tom's Mom) come through IF one last time for Tom's birthday before they drove back up to Alaska. The night before his birthday Tom's Mom took us to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. That is one of Tom's favorite places. We all had ribs...yummmmm. Later that night we made caramel popcorn...another one of Tom's favorites. On Tom's actual birthday we just did stuff with family, opened presents, and had a big family dinner (Brooke, Jeff, Hailee, Justin, Colleen and Don too!)that night. What a great day...we love you Tom!
